Stephen is the Founder & Managing Partners of Astra. He directs all private market investing and brings deep institutional expertise to Nashville, having previously served as Managing Director & COO of Individual Investor Solutions at Blackstone in New York City. His professional background spans key roles at Merrill Lynch and KPMG, where he advised leading businesses across the Southeast. Originally from Mississippi, Stephen now lives in Nashville with his wife, daughter, and son.

Ed serves as the Chief Investment Officer at Astra Ventures, where he directs the firm’s public markets trading strategies. His deep institutional background includes serving as an investment analyst at Tse Capital, a global macro hedge fund, following a series of strategic roles at Bloomberg LP, Macro Risk Advisors, and Lehman Brothers. A resident of New York City, Ed lives with his wife and two daughters and is an avid sailor in Southport, Connecticut.
